Gina LaMandre, PA-C, is an accomplished healthcare professional and educator, widely recognized for her expertise and dedication in the field. Gina’s clinical experience spans across various healthcare settings, including emergency medicine and primary care.
For over a decade, she at Robert Wood Hospital Emergency Room. She then dedicated her skills to a Community Health clinic in Elizabeth, NJ that worked with the underserved community.
Her journey as faculty began at Mass College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, which was the largest PA program in the country at the time. Recognized for her exceptional abilities, Gina was entrusted with the position of Director of Clinical Education. In this role, she ensured that clinical sites offered optimal learning opportunities for students. Additionally, Gina took on the responsibility of supporting at-risk students, guiding them toward success through customized remediation.
Under her leadership, the first-time pass rates significantly improved from 86% to an impressive 98%. Her dedication and remarkable achievements earned her the prestigious title of Teacher of the Year during her third year at MCPHS.
Gina then joined Monmouth University , where she served as principal faculty, interim program director, and academic coordinator throughout her tenure. She made history as the first faculty member to lead the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee within the program, emphasizing her commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable educational environment. Currently, Gina serves as principal faculty at WCU, where she continues to make a positive impact on students’ lives with her continued work in the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee within the program.
Gina’s clinical experience at this time is in performing clinical chart review for a prominent primary care practice and providing education as needed based on her findings.
Additionally, she remains committed to her personal growth and development by pursuing her doctorate, further solidifying her dedication to advancing the field of healthcare.
